G'day Australia-Week 1 in Cairns, Australia wrap-up

Despite only being in Cairns for a handful of days, I've already made friends from all walks of life. People from Sydney, American Samoa, Thailand, Japan and more! Everyone here has been incredibly welcoming and there's been no shortage of fun to be had. We even got to sample the night life during the final Australia world cup match. The Aussies lost on penalties (boo), but we still had a night to remember. Additionally we got to sample some fantastic biomes including the mangrove forests and visited the botanical gardens, where we got to learn about all kinds of alien-looking plants, and their medicinal properties.
