Week Two: Edinburgh - Dublin

This week we did some amazing trips. We went to the University of Edinburgh's library and were granted access to their "special collections" historical archives. Since will be key for one of my final projects. I am very excited to start work on a report of the Leith Plague Pits. After leaving the library, a friend and I found the BEST hot chocolate spot in the city. They torch the marshmallows and pack on the chocolate toppings. Best coco and perfect for a drizzly day...

The following day we went to the Surgeon's Museum which was incredible. I could have spent many more hours exploring all the levels and exhibits they offered. It is interesting to learn the significance of Edinburgh and its relationship to medical discovery.

The following morning I boarded a plane to Dublin and had a magical experience there. To achieve the European experience, I stayed in a cute hostel downtown. I walked about Temple Street area and observed the night life, I even made some local friends. By far my favorite thing to do in Dublin was visit Ireland's National Leprechaun Museum. It was amazing! We were led through themed rooms and told many old Irish stories of folklore and fairies. This is an absolute must do!!
