Last week in Berlin
Wow, these last few weeks was simply unbelievable. There is just so much to say about this entire experience. To anyone wishing to participate in this Global Seminar in the future, I have to warn you that your schedule is going to be packed. You will most definitely be busy throughout the whole program, but it will be a fulfilling experience. First off, the class is amazing; not so much in regards to the workload(which is plenty), but more so with the environment. The small class size is perfect for open and strong academic discussions, and the professor openly encourages it. It is a seminar after all. Furthermore, the numerous excursion did a great job in putting what we studied right in front of us. Seeing in person the buildings and locations that we read in the book was a surreal experience. It is common for one of us to recognize random buildings that appeared in the film we saw not long ago. The long weekends offers a great opportunity for further exploration of the city, or even Europe, on our own. I went to Vienna and Prague with a few mates and enjoyed every moment of it. Finals are next week, and I still have to get started on my paper so I will have to cut my conclusion a bit short. Until next time.
